Following the publication of the Llangattock Community Plan, Llangattock Community Council adopted the following priorities for 2026-2027:

1. Maintain, improve, and protect community assets for the long term, run the council in a financially sound, legally compliant way, and in line with its environmental policies.
2. Work with residents to raise funds for new, more inclusive play equipment.
3. Promote the wishes of Llangattock residents, as set out in the Community Plan and Place Plan, by encouraging volunteering and influencing statutory and voluntary bodies and the planning system.
4. Press for stronger speed enforcement on local roads.
5. Support the creation of a community hub at the northern end of the Recreation Ground, with associated parking. If needed, create additional parking. Grant a new long lease for the remainder of Glebe Field to the Llangattock Area Community Allotment Society.
6. Scrutinise Powys County Council’s Active Travel Plan for Llangattock, suggest improvements, and help deliver improvements to the 'Kissing Gates Path'.
7. Develop a plan to upgrade the cemetery path.
8. Press for flood alleviation schemes in Llangattock, support flood wardens, and promote community resilience.
