Following the publication of the Llangattock Community Plan, Llangattock Community Council adopted the following 12 priorities for the years 2025-2027:

1. Maintain and improve community assets and run the council in a financially sound and compliant way
2. Work with residents to raise funds and replace the play equipment
3. Press for flood alleviation schemes in Llangattock, support the flood wardens, promote community resilience and upgrade the cemetery shed to provide a flood equipment store
4. Support the creation of a community hub at the Northern End of the Recreation Ground with supporting parking
5. Develop a plan to upgrade the cemetery path
6. New public parking spaces at the top of the allotment field and negotiate a new long lease for the remainder with the Llangattock Area Community Allotment Association
7. Work with others to create opportunities for affordable housing in Llangattock
8. Campaign to maintain and improve public services e.g. fire, police, public transport
9. Support Powys County Council’s Active Travel Plan for Llangattock and suggest improvements
10. Work to protect the environment, including upland Mynydd Llangattock and Llangynidr
11. Press for more speed enforcement on local roads
12. Scrutinise planning applications in accordance with the Llangattock Place Plan Supplementary Planning Guidance & Llangattock Community Plan
