Llangattock Community Council routinely meets as a Full Council on the third Tuesday of every month. Councillors are also members of four committees: Finance, Central Services, Planning and Environment, and Community.

  • Finance monitors the Council’s spending, makes grant applications, plans its budgets and develops a strategy for coming years.
  • Central Services runs the council and looks after its existing assets.
  • Planning and Environment scrutinises and comments upon planning applications which affect Llangattock. A full list of these can be found on the Brecon Beacons National Park Website .
  • Community develops new projects, works with volunteers, creates community engagement and handles communications for the council.

Each committee can set up working groups which local residents can join in order to get involved in making a better future for Llangattock.
