Llangattock Community Council routinely meets as a Full Council on the third Tuesday of every month. Councillors are also members five committees: Finance, Central Services (including Planning), Core Services, Community and Environment.

• Finance monitors the Council’s spending, scrutinises grant applications, plans its budgets, creates policies for approval and develops a strategy for coming years.
• Central Services runs the council and looks after its existing assets.  It also responds to planning applications as a statutory consult. A full list of these can be found on the Brecon Beacons National Park Website .
• Core Services oversees polices, complaints and any HR matters.
• Community develops new projects, works with volunteers, creates community engagement and handles communications for the council.
• Environment drives actions against climate change in Llangattock, liaises with the flood wardens and promotes green transport.

Each committee can set up working groups which local residents can join in order to get involved in making a better future for Llangattock.

Committee Chairs report back the work of the Committees to Full Council every month so that every Councillor has a say.
