Please follow the dog code while in Llangattock and the Brecon Beacons.

Dogs are not allowed in Llangattock Recreation Ground, because small children play there.  Dog faeces carry disease and some children are afraid of dogs.  The only exception to this is assistance dogs, which should be kept on a lead at all times.

We respectfully ask dog owners to keep their animals on a lead as they walk through the council-owned Glebe Field, leading to and from Crickhowell.  This is is grazing land for livestock and dog faeces can be harmful to them.  Even if there is no livestock present, parasites from dog faeces can remain in the soil for years and cause livestock to abort their young.  If you wish to report dog fouling, please click on the image below.
