Powys County Council have told us that applications for Off Grid Payments are now open for eligible people who are not on mains gas, and can be applied for via PCC. Eligible households will be contacted and invited to apply and those who do not have access to an online facility will be supported by officers in the Financial Support Team. This is a one-off payment in response to increased energy costs for low-income households that rely on heating oil or LPG . Eligible households will receive or qualify for Council Tax Reduction Scheme. This payment does not affect benefits or tax.
