LCC respectfully asks visitors to the recreation ground not to light BBQs. The ground is dry in the summer months, and the Park is next to the historic ancient Beech Woods. Yesterday, the fire brigade had to be called because someone had deposited two used BBQs in the plastic waste bin next to the wooden shelters.
