More accessibility improvements for Llangattock Recreation Ground

The latest round of improvements to Llangattock Recreation Ground continues this weekend, creating a wheelchair-accessible slope from the vehicle entrance on Park Drive down to the tarmac area.  This work is being paid from access funding made available through Powys County Council's Recreation Department.  Thanks to them, the slope from the tarmac area to the double gates will be raised up so that people in manual wheelchairs can easily get from one place to the other and on to the new accessible path round the park.  Llangattock contractor, Land and Stone was chosen by the County Council to carry out the work.

A friendly, vibrant, forward-thinking village in the South East corner of the county of Powys. We are surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
