Brecon & District Dial-a-Ride Club and the Crickhowell & District Community Transport Group are seeking an enthusiastic and organised CricConnect Coordinator to help launch and develop an exciting new community transport initiative serving Crickhowell and the surrounding villages.

Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, the CricConnect pilot project aims to improve access to transport, reduce car dependency and carbon emissions, and help local people connect with services, opportunities and one another. You will lead the set-up, day-to-day management and ongoing development of the bus service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily bus operations, routes and timetables
• Recruiting, supporting and scheduling drivers and passenger assistants
• Building strong relationships with local partners and service users
• Monitoring service performance and reporting outcomes to funders
• Identifying opportunities for future funding and supporting the long-term sustainability of the service
• Promoting and developing the service to maximise community benefit and participation

Occasional minibus driving may be required to maintain service continuity.
