Llangattock Community Council (LCC) will meet at 7pm on Wednesday November 4th in the committee room of Llangattock Community Hall, Clos Cillau, Llangattock, NP81PH, to discuss Powys County Council (PCC)’s proposals to change roads and pavements in the village.
- LCC has advertised PCC’s community engagements since 2019 so that the maximum number of residents could have a say.
- Now that public comments have been submitted, LCC will debate PCC’s proposals.
- The Community Council will not make the final decision; PCC will, and PCC will not be bound by what LCC decides.
This is not a public meeting, though residents will be able to watch and listen online. There will be some seating in the Committee room so those less comfortable with technology can follow the meeting.
The Council’s Standing Orders allow for 15 minutes to be set aside at the beginning, before the formal meeting begins, for residents to address the Council if they wish to. After that, the contributions will be restricted to Councillors and the Clerk.
If you want the link to watch online, observe the meeting in person or address the Council, please email the Clerk, Kay Bailey, at Llangattockcc@gmail.com as soon as possible so that she has an idea of numbers and can make appropriate arrangements. If several residents want to speak on similar subjects, they may be asked to coordinate their contributions to save time.
