Kissing Gates Repaired

We are delighted to say that the kissing gates have been repaired. The work was carried out by ornamental metalworker, Adam Miles, of Park Farm, Llangattock on behalf of Llangattock Community Council.

The kissing gates are a wonderful feature of the footpath connecting Llangattock and Crickhowell and they get a huge amount of use.  The repairs involved creating new feet for the 'wings' of the gates, which are struck by the gate every time it opens and closes.

Please help us look after them for the future by closing them gently, rather than letting them slam. Happy walking!
