Accessible Toilet Pod Open

The accessible toilet pod in Llangattock Recreation Ground is finished, just in time for the Jubilee weekend. This has been a difficult project, beset by supply challenges, so our thanks go out to Llangattock Community Council Chair, Richard Jones and Llangattock contractors Land & Stone for their dogged determination to get it done. The pod, which was funded by the National Lottery, is fully wheelchair accessible and has baby changing facilities. The old metal gates from the vehicular entrance to the path have been re-used to provide a storage area. The toilets are opened and closed by a team of volunteers on a rota - and we need some more. If you can spare a few minutes a week to care for this important community resource, please get in touch.

A friendly, vibrant, forward-thinking village in the South East corner of the county of Powys. We are surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
