October's Newsletter

The October Newsletter is out and attached - let the Council know your thoughts on the ideas for the recreation ground!

Zip Wire - Recreation Ground

Zip Wire

The first decision from the Recreation Ground survey (on our webite) has started last week - the zip wire. Below are some pictures of the project underway!

The project is being funded by Awards for All (Lottery), the Education Trust (Llangattock) and the Community Council.

It should take about 3 weeks depending on supplies, but the Council will let you know when it's ready to use.

Happy whooshing!

No Dogs (expect service dogs)

The recreation ground meeting on the 7th October bought up an issue regarding the walking of dogs on the recreation ground. Llangattock recreation ground currently has a No Dogs allowed policy other than service animals.

The signage to the entrance was spoken about and due to its condition a new and shiny notice is now up on the gate. Hopefully the new signage will be easier to spot.

Dogs are welcome elsewhere in the Village, notably the Beechwood and the Canal path are very pleasant walks.
