Good for bugs and kids

Thank you to everyone who helped water the community orchard and create a new biodiversity area in Llangattock Recreation Ground yesterday. And thank you for Cllr Gail Jones for organising it. These initiatives are part of our commitment to improve the Recreation Ground for creatures as well as humans. We agreed to do this as part of the grant funding for the new accessible path. Funding for that is from the Landfill Disposals Community Grant Scheme, because Llangattock is on the route to a waste disposal depot. The Council will be choosing the contractor to build the path on the 23rd of August.

A friendly, vibrant, forward-thinking village in the South East corner of the county of Powys. We are surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
