Activites

There is no shortage of things to do in Llangattock and the local area.  We are surrounded by stunning countryside, the Monmouth and Breconshire Canal and the River Usk run past our door.  And there are indoor activities as well.  Here are some links:

  • Llangattock Allotments Society sometimes have allotments available and organise social events to which the whole village are often invited – wassailing evenings and non-fireworks bonfire nights in the darker days of the year, summertime theatrical events (subsidised by the Arts Council of Wales), BBQs and Big Lunches and last but not least, the Annual Allotment Summer Show, Dog Show and Party held in early September.  They also have a chicken group and a bee group.  Contact llangattockallotments@gmail.com
  • The Llangattock Village Society are planning events in 2021, including village walks, a ceilidh, soup evening and apple day.  Contact Helen Burns by email helburns@gmail.com
  • Llangattock Crafters normally meet at 2pm at the Horse Shoe Pub in the centre of the village.  Again, contact helburns@gmail.com
  • Crickhowell Running Club are running 'couch to 2.5k' events using routes including Llangattock
