Zip Wire
29th October 2018

The first decision from the Recreation Ground survey (on our webite) has started last week - the zip wire. Below are some pictures of the project underway!

The project is being funded by Awards for All (Lottery), the Education Trust (Llangattock) and the Community Council.

It should take about 3 weeks depending on supplies, but the Council will let you know when it's ready to use.

Happy whooshing!

The next part of the project is to keep clearing down the ivy on the metal fencing whilst deciding on the next big project. The contenders are:

- Full replacement of the younger children's play equiptment (our most recent inspection report can be seen on the website)
- Trim trail/Adventure trail
- Combined football/rugby goals
- Boules area

Outside of these there was firm support for a picnic area and improving the tennis courts and the football wall.

There was also support for a new toilet facility and new benches.
